About CopFax

CopFax collects documented police encounters from publicly available video and pairs them with public records, so anyone can look up a department or officer and see the source material directly.

We do not sell data, run ads, or accept payment for coverage. Every factual statement links to its source.

Read our editorial standards for how we source, review, and correct what we publish.
